May has been an eventful month for AvantGuard, with our CEO, Ted Eveleth, attending three major conferences dedicated to advancements in wound care and medical technology. European Wound Management Association (EWMA) Conference

From May 1-3, 2024, Ted Eveleth represented AvantGuard at the 34th Conference of the European Wound Management Association (EWMA) in London, United Kingdom. In collaboration with The Society of Tissue Viability, this year’s conference theme of "Collaborative and sustainable wound care: making everyone’s contribution count," resonated deeply with AvantGuard's mission. The event featured high-quality sessions, workshops, and e-poster presentations, along with a large industry exhibition. We engaged with various companies within the wound care sector, exploring the latest advancements and seeking opportunities for collaboration.

Symposium on Advanced Wound Care (SAWC) Spring | Wound Healing Society (WHS)

Ted’s journey continued to Orlando, FL, for the Symposium on Advanced Wound Care (SAWC) Spring | Wound Healing Society (WHS) from May 14-18, 2024. Recognized as the premier meeting dedicated to wound management, treatment, and prevention, SAWC/WHS provided an unparalleled platform for discussing evidence-based practices and innovative techniques. Ted's presence underscored AvantGuard's dedication to advancing wound care solutions and connecting with the entire wound care team, from physicians and nurses to researchers and scientists.

Medical Technology Enterprise Consortium (MTEC) Annual Membership Meeting

Rounding off the month, Ted attended the Medical Technology Enterprise Consortium (MTEC) Annual Membership Meeting in Baltimore, MD, on May 22-23, 2024. This event focused on developing medical solutions that protect, treat, and optimize the health and performance of U.S. military personnel and civilians. Ted’s participation highlighted AvantGuard's commitment to pioneering medical advancements, fostering collaboration, and exploring innovative avenues in healthcare. The MTEC meeting was an excellent opportunity, aligning seamlessly with AvantGuard’s mission to create safer and more effective medical technologies.
